One of the most demanded functions by all types of users is how to put Facebook in dark mode . More and more applications include this possibility in their interfaces so that we have a better user experience. Dark mode emits less blue light, so its impact on our sleep cycles is less. It is also much less annoying than the clear mode when we use it in a dark room in the middle of the night, so we will be able to sleep more than one night because of looking at the mobile just before falling asleep.

Once you get logged in Facebook account, to activate the dark mode in the web version of Facebook , we will have to display the menu that we will find in the upper right part of the screen and click on 'Display and accessibility'. There will appear the possibility of activating the dark mode so that your view is not overloaded so much with the clarity of the white background, which is the one that is activated by default. We will instantly notice the change and our eyes will appreciate it.

If what we want is to activate Facebook's dark mode on Android , this function will be available as long as we have Android version 10 or higher. Currently Facebook is working with its team of developers so that all operating systems have the dark mode function available, but for now it is not available to all users in the main application. Where it is available to everyone is in the Facebook Lite application.

Some users have been part of the beta tests, so they have seen the option in recent months available on their mobiles. Others, on the contrary, have had the dark mode but it has disappeared within a few weeks. If you are one of the lucky ones who can activate it, these are the steps to follow to activate the dark mode on your Android mobile.

Enter the drop-down menu with the three stripes that you will find in the upper right and scroll down until you find the option 'Settings and privacy' . Click there and several options will be displayed, among which is the 'Dark Mode' in some devices, Android 10 or higher and some random in the lower versions. Its presence on all devices is one of the great demands of Facebook users today.

The process to activate Facebook dark mode on iPhone is exactly the same as on Android devices. It should also be borne in mind that this function is available for mobiles that have the iOS 13 version or higher. The Facebook Messenger and Facebook Lite applications (not in all countries) do have the dark mode function

To check if you can activate dark mode on your device, you have to display the menu in the upper right, access 'Settings and privacy'. When that menu is displayed, the option 'Dark Mode' should appear. If you don't see it, you will have to keep waiting for future updates. Many applications have long offered their dark modes in a generalized way, but Facebook still does not guarantee today a specific date in which everyone, regardless of the version of their operating systems, will be able to activate that desired dark wallpaper.
