We will be developing paired devices and networked interactions using Particle.publish. The devices will have a tilt sensor and a vibration motor. When the tilt sensor is tilted, the other device will vibrate.
This project will attempt to create an ambient calendar using a Neopixel ring. My Particle device will be connected to my Google calendar through IFTTT and display an alert using a Neopixel array.
An ambient device for acquaintances that presents availability as light and movement in order to encourage casual socialization in remote spaces.
Create an interaction using a motor like the servo, fan, or solenoid that can communicate with me. Ideally, the motor would create the notification generated from an online source using IFTTT, but since the exercise said we did not have to hook up to live data I instead tested this using the Particle cloud.
Using pushbuttons to get input and combining with a potentiometer as a dimmer switch. Also exploring use of the photoresistor as a sensor using surrounding light levels to vary the brightness of the LED.
First time with Particle platform to build LED circuit with dimmer function and connected color LED.
