I have a twin brother and it always surprises others when they get to learn the fact, which makes me feel special and proud. By putting up a picture with my twin brother, I intend to emphasize that I have always been a big sister, caring, responsible and decisive and that I am very special and lucky to always have someone grow with together. These won't contradict the image I have already established on Facebook, but it will give my audience a very different perspective to view the personality I have.

In this report, I will particularly look into the relationship between people' s level of sociability in the real life and his choice of profile pictures. What kind of profile picture would a social and outgoing person choose to represent himself and what for an introverted. What are the elements in a profile picture that can be perceived to be social and what are perceived to be the other way. Will some certain profile pictures gain you more friends on Facebook?

In this project, I am going to explore ads as a form of media and subtle messages they are conveying with help of complex recommendation systems.
