I'm afraid that I lack an account on a video-hosting site, so I settled for Google Drive as a place to share the product.

Given that I am unexperienced with video composition, I didn't really have a concrete idea of where to go with a music video. I understand videos where people match animation to audio or use music as part of some cinematographic composition. Designing a video with a more abstract concept in mind was something I couldn't really grasp. What I settled for was an interplay between a musical track I sketched out in another class and what I felt from it through video. The track, titled "Midnight Excursion", made me think of 'the calm before the storm', and hence I rather literally demonstrated that concept in the graphical component of the video. I took footage that showed nature interacting with people, showing how nature can quickly turn the tides. I also synchronized the clips to the general structure of the music, down to the frame.
The overall process of learning how Premiere works was rather enjoyable. The program's interface was intuitive, and its editing capacity surpasses what I had expected. There were two challenges I had encountered when creating the video; the first was the amount of stock footage I had to work with. It was tricky trying to find footage of exactly the events I wanted to see on YouTube that lacked watermarks or significant editing, so my original idea was downplayed. In addition, incorporating effects into the video was something I could have improved upon. I tend to create media with technique over performance in mind.
