This project is an interactive media installation called Footfalls. Visitors could stomp their feet and it would create a rhythm of cascading virtual objects. Microphones on the ground would detect the sound and speed of the stomps and accordingly the projections would fall from the top. In addition, the visitors could "catch" and throw these projected objects around using their silhouettes, adding yet another layer to this audiovisual installation. I really like this project because the viewer is heavily immersed in the installation, and the viewer is the one "producing the work" essentially, since he/she is the one who dictates what happens based on how hard they stop and how they move the objects around. I think one way this project could be even more immersive is by allowing the user to manipulate sound as well, which would essentially be almost a full bodily experience.
