Nils Frahm's song "Says" uses progression as a fundamental composition technique in many of his songs. The primary part of this piece consists of arpeggios, which, at the beginning of the song serve as the background. The foreground from 0:00-3:30 is the piano part of the song. The piano around 3:30-5:28 then becomes accompaniment to the arpeggios, which now act as the foreground of the piece.  It becomes the foreground of the piece at 5:28 when he changes the sequence of notes. This song is very progressive because of its repeated elements which are built onto, and eventually changed to create a new pattern of repeating measures.
