Reflect on the process of making this project. Do you think you captured the themes and style of the work accurately? what did you learn? what would you do differently?
This was an interesting project; it required thinking about traditional art and re-contextualizing it to apply the message/medium to my own world. I changed the themes and feel of the art quite a bit, but only because the world I live in and the world Schwitters lived in are quite different. However, I feel like I can see the influence of Schwitters' style of work on this one, although again, it has a very different feel to it.
It was difficult to fully grasp all the cool things Photoshop could do; I feel like I only scratched the surface on Photoshop's features. I would like to somehow add more subtlety to the picture and incorporate a better understanding of Photoshop, if I were to do this again.
