I tried to take the most memorable parts of my recording and cut them into a one minute sample.

I took several sections of my typing, which makes up a majority of the original recording overlaid the atop each other to hopefully create a cacophony of key-clicking. Then I took a segment which was memorable to me -- somebody telling their friend "I just came [to the library]" and looped it to produce slightly jarring effect. Finally, I focused on the end of the recoding when my listening experience was meta-interrupted.
