My two recordings are both excerpts from the book The Giver. The first clip was recorded with the microphone towards the right side of me, at about mouth level. The second with the microphone in front but under me. The first was about 6 inches away and the second 3inches, and both with the setting to pick up directly in front only. At first glance, both of them are really clear and don't offer much distinctions, but when I put on my headphones, I can clearly tell that I hear main sound in my right ear with the left being auxiliary sound in the first recording. The second is a lot more full, and balanced on both sides. The waves for the second one also fluctuate more heavily. But overall both sound clear. If I were to attempt another try, I would probably go more extreme like behind or under the microphone.
Is this a good/useful/informative piece of content to include in the project? Have your say!
