Catcher in the Rye

I realize that I left the metronome on in the recording, and I apologize for that. I initially thought that the metronome wouldn't appear when you export the audio clips. In both readings, I used the Yeti USB microphone with the cardioid pattern.

For the first recording, I placed the microphone within the critical distance. For the second recording, I placed it around 4 or 5 feet away from me. The most noticeable difference is the louder volume in the close recording. Additionally, it is much clearer than the recording taken outside the critical distance. There seems to be no background noise in either recording (apart from the metronome). One final observation I made was that in the close recording, whenever I took a breath, it was very noticeable. For the far recording, you could still hear the breaths, but only very faintly.
