Just like most of other textile technology, the crochet requires some planning work before actually making anything. The learning process takes a lot of time for me to be comfortable about using one needle to create a fancy pattern. To create a more advanced pattern, many other components like button, lace would be needed. Generally speaking, crochet is a good method to create hand-making pattern in both traditional textile and soft circuit.
