"First Hand" is a public interactive installation that aims to raise awareness of domestic abuse through a two-part experience : A tangible, intimate interaction which generates media that is reflected in a constantly renewing collage, signifying the collective experiences and community reached through the installation.  

"First Hand" is site-specifically located at the Times Square / Port Authority MTA Subway Station in New York City, both on the platforms and in the walkway above them.
