I made a short snippet using only the SoCal Drum Kit instrument in Logic Pro X. The piece begins with a repetitive, typical rock beat that is the backbone to a the double phrase that takes up a majority of the piece. It then ends with a short, more typical jazz-y section. 

It's cool that you can just create a short beat, and then loop it/modify it to create more music, and all without ever touching a drumstick. The tools that Logic has are pretty powerful.
