I decided that this piece would have a light tone, and its more of a background piece that doesn't command a lot of attention. The tempo is kept faster and consistent by using one drum set and one drum layer that isn't changed throughout the piece. I added in the fade-in tone with the repeating melody for contrasting sound in order to create interest in the beginning. I also repeated that sound in the middle of the piece to add interest. The basic form of my piece is ABA, where the second A is a repetition of the first with some variation to keep interest. The B in this case also has a similar melody base,  but a different keyboard is used and random keystrokes at the end of phrases are used in order to distinguish it from the A section.
