I used www.bfxr.net/ to create different pitches of distorted low-fi '8bit' sounds and then tried to create a small story to the tune of: "Oh cool I found my old Gameboy I'm gonna play some Pokemon Red. Oh no it's been all messed up what's happening?!" So hopefully the piece creates that feeling.

The piece starts triumphantly with the opening notes of Pokemon RB's "Main Theme." It quickly devolves into dissonance before a ending with a brief distorted snippet from Zelda's "Song of Storms." I would say the piece has an ABA structure, where it has more structure and consonance at the beginning and the end, and is more unordered in the middle.
