For My percussive sound, I used noise plus a square wave with the mix being even between the two. I made the envelope very short and had the attack as a spike, going down to no sustain and short release. I turned the lfo off in order to get all the frequencies. This resulted in a short, percussive sound with a tone like a string being tweaked.
For my smooth sound I used a triangle wave with a square wave with a bias to the triangle wave to get a smoother sound. I lengthened the attack and decay of the note, as well as I played around with the lfo to give it an underlying oscillation. I also slightly turned down the volume. I also made the vibrato a square wave. I also changed the lpf to a fat lpf.
For my alien sound, I turned Vibrato all the way up, used two regular square waves, used a hpf, turned the lfo up, turned up semitones a little bit, lengthened my envelope, and mixed more of the lower square wave in creating a high piched oscillating alien type sound.
