Reflection

Researching the feasibility of this project taught my a lot of about thread strength. The main concern I always had with a system like this is that in the event that something began to malfunction, how could I prevent serious injury. The wide range of fabrics, threads, and sewing patterns which exist provide many ways to implement what is essentially an Emergency-Stop button in fabric. This is especially important, because that type of system is passive. That is a good thing because in my project, you would no longer have control of your hands to stop or control anything.
