Cultural Phenomenon: Going to the bathroom. Everyone has to do it and there's no way of avoiding it.

Why: The reason I chose this cultural phenomenon is because I hate it and want to improve it. People only go to the bathroom because it is necessary to survive. They go in, do there business, and get out as soon as possible. If there were ways that people could further benefit from going to the bathroom, it would be a worthwhile experience.
