Parts Sourcing

The next step was to source the necessary components in order to build the lamp. The list of components (which can be seen below) includes:

  • 1 Brake Rotor
  • 1 Carbon Fiber Tube
  • 2 Pistons
  • 1 LED Light BUlb
  • 1 Cold Air Intake Filter
  • 1 Hangin Pendant Light Cord

Additional parts created or added later on include:

  • 4 M12x1.5 Lug studs
  • 4 M12x1.5 low profile nuts
  • Laser cut rubber pad
  • Laser cut acrylic
  • 4 wood screws
  • 3D printed coupler assembly
