Although I originally wanted to alter the pile of clothes I had accumulated throughout college via various thrift shopping trips, I thought it would be better to actually start from scratch and make a garment on my own because I would probably never get another chance (or motivation) to do this! I found a really simple pattern for pants and creating the following item. It still needs to be altered to my specific height and width, but I think it's a pretty good start!
