Project Execution

I ran into some difficulty stabilizing the acrylic panels in order to hold them in a window formation as originally planned so I deviated from my original idea to create something that would still execute a similar function. 

I made two cubes out of the acrylic panels I laser cut and the colored circular inserts were still able to be hung and interchanged on the sculpture. The LED lights did not create the circular light projection that I was hoping for however, they did illuminate the sculpture in a unique manner that I was still satisfied with and the audience would still be able to interact with the piece in a sensory manner and it would still create an individual environment for that person. 

With  a different light source, ideally, the coupled cubes would be able to project both the colored acrylic panels and the colored circular inserts patterns across a room, turning the entire room into that specific heterotopia environment and engulfing all of those in the room as the participating audience in that environment.
