Kandinsky’s artwork is intended to convey emotions. I chose to study Several Circles because it was not immediately apparent to me how it was an emotional or spiritual piece. On the other hand, strong emotions were more evident to me in some of his works like Riding Couple (which might convey a romantic love) or Moscow I (perhaps expressing nostalgia or glory).
