Book cover for bible.
Materials: Button, black canvas cloth.
For my final project, I chose to make a book cover for my bible. I needed one because when I put my bible in my backpack, sometimes the pages get folded because it is a softcover book. With this case, there shouldn't be anything that gets in between the pages anymore. I tried to put an inner lining in a different color, but the lining in addition to the black exterior was too thick for the sewing machine to handle. I also sewed creases in order for the case to hold its shape. Then, I sewed the button and measured the closure flap. I melted the edges to prevent fraying.
