This is a pretty simple melody from the piece "Manha de Carneval" that was the theme of an old Brazilian movie Black Orpheus. I played one phrase of the main melody, so it has a very short "beginning" where there is a pickup E into a long C, so the increase in pitch attracts the attention of the listener. The piece itself is in A minor and the fact that its in a minor key, particularly in a full song makes it sound kind of longing and sad. This is only one phrase so there isn't any form real form, its all just A minor with the same feel. The tempo is comfortable, not particularly slow or fast (130 to be specific) so that the half note triplet feel would not feel rushed but also so it wouldn't drag. Unfortunately I couldn't get too creative with this because I was constricted by the logic piano although it seems to have automatically put in some decrescendos which work somewhat well in the piece anyway as it lets the longer notes sort of fade out, which makes a kind of cool effect I think. The quantizing seems to have actually been a little helpful because I'm not quite comfortable enough on this computer keyboard instrument to perfectly nail those triplets so it was definitely nice for that.
