I chose to represent the interactions I had with media throughout the day in an image cloud.  Similar to word clouds, the logos for Facebook, Amazon and Netflix are larger than other portions as they make up most of the media interactions I have in a day.  I have also included some of the adds I saw, along with peoples' mouths smiling and laughing repetitively.  Social media often portrays an overwhelming amount of happiness in users lives which is often inconsistent with reality.  Rarely are people who are sad ever shown in any kind of media other than commercials for certain medications.  The over abundance of happy faces is misleading, and something I have not notices in its extreme repetition before now.  I have also included some images of random things that the internet is full of, ie strange pictures, captivating article headlines, all in an attempt to get more views, likes and shares.  There is often also an element of sexuality to a lot of the media that is seen, which is why I have included a couple of repeating images of a woman bikini top.  From this project, making myself aware of the media I view in a day, I have begun to realize how media that we don't generally notice can very much lead to subconscious shifts in thinking, especially in what we perceive as normal.
