Songs Used:
Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - PONPONPON
Pokemon RBY - Route 1 Theme
This Will Destroy You - They Move On Tracks Of Never-Ending Light

Selection:
Songs were chosen individually without any prior planning.

Chance:
Relatively high. Since there was no coordination in choosing the song, we had almost no way of knowing how they would sound together.

Indeterminacy:
Low, but not extremely so. We each selected our own song, but from each of our perspectives that made the two other song selections indeterministic. So, collectively the indeterminism was very low, but for each member of the group it was only moderately low.

Entropy:
Moderate. The songs definitely seemed to clash and there were moments of complete silence, but on occasion Route 1 Theme and PONPONPON actually seemed to work together. Additionally, since PONPONPON is a somewhat loud, catchy pop song, it dominated the other two songs whenever it was playing, and it was playing more frequently than either of the two other songs.

Songs Used:
The Legend of Zelda - Great Fairy's Fountain Theme
MegaMan 2 - Dr. Wily Stage 1
Super Mario bros. - Super Mario bros. Theme

Chance:

Chance is relatively low in this selection. All of the music we picked adhered to a certain genre, so we could expect the mix to sound a certain way.

Indeterminacy:

There is higher indeterminacy than the previous selection. Since we decided together, we picked songs that each individual may not have thought of alone. However, since one group member thought of the theme originally, the indeterminacy for that particular member may still be low.

Entropy:

Although the songs were all very similar, I would say that entropy is still high. We still couldn't control when we stopped and started each song, so there were still several awkward gaps in the mixing. Also, the tempos of the different songs didn't match particularly well against each other.

Changes:

If we were to re-select songs, the mixing may sound better if all the songs were at a similar tempo. Also, since all 3 songs we picked had tones in high registers, they conflicted with each other when played simultaneously. As for the algorithm, I think it would be interesting to change it so that only 2 songs are ever playing simultaneously at once.

Songs Used:
Sam Smith - Latch (Acoustic)
Zion T. - Two Melodies (Instrumental)
This Will Destroy You - Quiet (Instrumental & Percussion)

Chance:
Lower than the first composition because the instructions limits the types of songs we would most likely choose from.

Indeterminacy:
Lower for the audience because there is a lesser element of chance in what songs are selected with the instructions.

Entropy:
Entropy is still high because the way that the selections are being played are completely random. However, it is slightly less than the first two compositions because the music was chosen in a more intentional way.

Selection:
With this method, the songs were chosen based on the types of sounds in each song. Two Melodies was chosen for its low sustained sounds, overall low volume, and percussion elements. Latch was chosen for its vocal line which is emphasized by the subtleness of the instrumental.

Changes:
If the first actions were to be repeated, the compositions would be completely different, but the chance, indeterminacy, and entropy would generally be the same because the approach to selecting the material would be the same.
