Project: I wanted to explore how the different skills I learnt in the mini Soft Fabrication Skills can be used. I decided to employ felting (wet and needle), applique and circuitry for this.

The materials used were wool, canvas, lights, battery, button snap, conductive thread, embroidery thread, felting needle and common needle.

I began with wet felting to create the fabric for my skyline. I used needle felting to give the skyline its shape.

I then stitched the felt to canvas using a whip stitch and stitched a circuit for the stars. The button in this circuit can be found in the moon.
