The idea is to assist people in saving money with increase in spending trends .

People often use mental accounting models, such as weekly or monthly budgeting to reign in on their spending habits. Yet even disciplined spenders, have a trouble keeping count of their spending. The connected bowl collects the average of aggregate spending data, over the last 7 days, and displays it as the water level in a fish bowl. High spending, will lower the water level, while low spending would increase the water level.

Our goal was to bring awareness to the relatively intangible quantity of online purchases that modern consumers make. The ambient display brings glanceable feedback to help moderate your excessive purchases.

This ambient device fits into a coffee cup and allows a simple glow to indicate whether a user can drink coffee out or should make it to save money.
