    No it haven't show in the code.
    But you can document the action beamStatus = broken and beamStatus = intact.
    it means when the insect touch the light and leave the light.
    Though the time between two action, you will get the time the insect use to pass though the light.
    And you already know the length of your LED. The speed of insect equal to the time divided by the length

    I'm interested to know how you can learn, the speed of the moving insect. Is it part of the code ?
