RSMA Final Project

Beams of Sound, an interactive installation invites visitors into an immersive audio and visual experience. Comprised of five laser beams, each connected to a designated sound and reactive animation, visitors can play one beam at a time or use all the lasers to create a unique composition.

Transcending the traditional projection mapping surface, this project aims to create a volumetric luminescent space. It features the interactive geometries projected on multiple transparent surfaces which allow audiences to be fully immersed in the world of light. Not only is it an immersive experience, but it is also playful that the movement of the audiences can be capture and generate the corresponding animation in the space.
