I chose Adams, largely because I enjoy taking pictures of nature as well, and he has some of the best black and white images of nature to date.
I really enjoyed the last photo that you took - it's view that you took is very striking and my eye moved up the pictures just the way it did when looking at the examples you posted of Ansel Adams' work
