To create a program that transposes a style of one image onto another image.
The result of this would be really cool. I think the next thing to do is to refine what the outcome will be and what it will mean. In your short presentation today, you mentioned that you were considering taking pictures of various places around CMU and applying art styles on that. What is the symbolism of this? I'm sure it will look good, though. You could apply some Andy Warhol styles overtop images of CMU and talk about how he went here and come up with some symbolism from that.
This is a very interesting idea, and could result in an awesome piece. That kind of technology would be cool to develop. I fear that coming up with a program like this might be too much work for the time that you have, but hopefully you are able to complete creating what you are looking for. I like the idea of applying this to pictures of CMU, that could be pretty neat. Again, very cool idea and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
I like your idea a lot, and I agree that combining pictures of various spots in CMU with different art styles is really cool. I would recommend surrealism artists like Magritte, Dali, and Escher. You can even play with the idea of time and infinite space if you have enough time. I look forward to your outcome, good job!
