I think you did a good job representing the themes of the music through your work. Choosing a black box as the center is a good parallel for the music's sad tone, and cotton fits the piano part well. I am not sure how the paper represents the song, and I agree that there are better ways to show its cyclic nature. Overall, I like the outcome.

I think that you have captured the emotion expressed in the music really well with your idea! I really like the part of having cotton to represent the softness and having it chained inside some grid. I agree that it might look better and represent the cyclic nature more if you had another chance to figure out how the materials work, but I think that the idea is really well represented with this prototype.
