These images actually made me laugh out loud in my living room while viewing them. I really liked how not only did you use the same meme, but you kept the tennis doge image throughout all of the layers. Overall a very creative and entertaining meme creation. Good Work!
LOL I really like your work! I like how that doge ball appears in almost every picture and how your background changes from a tennis court to One Punch to time travel. This is really cute and entertaining. I also found the documentation really well written, I used yours as a reference when I was writing mine ;p GREAT JOB!
I was really surprised by the dramatic changes that you made between layers. Even so, everything revolves around the idea of tennis and doge which is great. I also liked that there is some connection between iterations, for example between the telescope layer and the universe layer. Overall good work!
I really liked how creative you all were with not only the content of the last person's work, but the ideas and themes of them. The transition from tennis ball, to shooting star, to alien was well done and really funny to see and read about. Great work!
This is great work in photoshop, I must say. The idea is very continuous amongst the group members and everyone seemed to follow a pattern using the doge ball and having it go farther and farther from its origin. It tells a story and that is very intriguing given the task at hand. I really enjoyed this project.
The layers just got more and more ridiculous, which is one of the reasons spreadable memes are spreadable. And in general I'm just very impressed by the photoshopping skills everyone in this team has. You guys utilized your awesome skills to keep the storyline going. I enjoyed looking at this project. Great job!
It is an awesome idea to choose Doge to work on because it is so funny. Even though it looks funny, you guys have smoothly integrated it into different images to create stories. I like the comic tail thing which makes the pictures dynamic.
This is superb! I really like the use of Doge as a tennis ball. I feel like it truly captures the aesthetic of meme tennis perfectly. It kept getting crazier and crazier, and I think the final volley had some real pay off that made it well suited as the final product.
Overall, really nice work on this assignment.
There’s a nice progression throughout. Shot #2 is an excellent response - using another meme to respond to a meme is clever and sharp. It also works really well because of the simplicity - easy to composite in the time available.
Some of the concepts could be pushed a little further and a stronger narrative or critical voice could be developed. e.g. the leap to time travel seems like a big departure conceptually.
The documentation itself is thorough and easy to follow. There’s a few small tweak you could make to improve it. For example, adding the Giphy for shot #8 as an inline embed as opposed to a link would be great. Or adding bullets / better formatting for the sources too.
