What do you do when some one is using their phone to do their work? Is there a different kind of interaction you can use to trigger availability in the future (maybe not for this project)?
For your occupancy map prototype, can you pretend to use something like that Locus API that Alanna's Alex the Plane team is using for airports? Maybe look at how their business model works and you guys could pretend like you'd be using the same thing but for university maps (and then you could scale to colleges everywhere!)
I am not sure I understand the wearable part. Does the person need to actually be wearing it or should it be embedded in the class desks so that people don't accidentally leave without them?
Does the incorporation of a phone case as the embodiment for the peer learning solution impede the function of the cell phone? What happens if Vishar needs to use his phone? Would there be a concern for willingness to wear a device that monitors your heart rate in class? Even though it can be designed to be anonymous, respect for privacy should be considered.
