Lightwall Interaction

Made by Anna Henson and Javier Argota Sánchez-Vaquerizo

We were challenged to create a new form of interaction for the Lightwall installation at the Carnegie Library in Knoxville. Working with the Lightwall's existing API, we created and implemented a prototype using Processing and TouchOSC, and shared it with the library staff and kids. Then, the fun began!

The workflow :  from a custom TouchOSC layout created for the Lightwall, used on a mobile device, to the Processing sketch, into the Lightwall through IP, and using the Lightwall library to generate light patterns in response to the user's interactions on the mobile device.
