Using Alberti's Method

I decided to draw the CFA lobby from the perspective of me sitting down. This caused the perspective of my drawing to be a lot wider than intended. It was most difficult for me to accurately draw the perspective from my sitting position in a way that prevents the building's structures to be larger than they appear. Specifically the statues on the sides of the hall in relation to the arch at the end of it.

Using Alberti's method, I was able to establish the vanishing point (right in between the middle of the two doors under the arch on the other side of the hall). The horizontal in my drawing is the perpendicular creates by the walls that meet the floor.
