Round Square Clock

Made by jyli1

I was inspired to create this clock because I wanted to both laser cut the clock but also give it dimension at the same time. Using wood gave the clock a natural. I had the clock taper out from a square to a circle to give it dimension.

Intention

I was inspired to create this clock because I wanted to both laser cut the clock but also give it dimension at the same time. Using wood gave the clock a natural. I had the clock taper out from a square to a circle to give it dimension.

Process/Procedure

I created each layer of the clock by increasing it by 40 mm for each square. I also used the spine tool to add curves in the side of the square. I also used the fillet tool to add curves on the side of the square.

Product

Reflection

This was the first project I completed in Fusion360 by myself. It was satisfying creating something from design to constructing the clock. I had trouble with the actual fitting of the clock battery inside the clock. I decided to cut the wood out to fit the battery inside the wooden pieces.
