Intention

As I learned a little bit about how to yarn in class, I enjoyed it a lot. However, I think yarning takes a lot of time and it is quite complicated to learn.

As I have tempted to use yarn for my final project for a period of time, I found this yarn kit that teaches you how to yarn on a plastic board without much yarning techniques while leaving you a useful item, a tissue holder.

Process

The yarn kit came with a yarning guid that teaches you how to start.

First of all, I cut the middle square out on one side of the box, so that I could leave room for tissue to come out.

By yarning the box square by square, side by side, I finally sewed the box up while left one side open, making sure a tissue box could be put inside.

Product

The whole project uses different colors of yarns and a plastic board that came from a the yarn kit. I found this project really interesting and useful as it now sits on my desk and is used since I finished the project.

Reflection

In the end, I sewed two sides of the box for the downside, resulting in making the process of putting tissue inside this box pretty difficult. Instead of that, I think if I only sew one side up and use a button or stickers for the other side, it will be easier to use.
