I think it's very interesting that you decided to design a car of all things. You were probably the only one in the class to do that, so congratulations. The cars themselves definitely look like something I would see on the street and people would think "yep that car sure looks like it wasn't designed by some college kid but by someone who designs cars." However, the lines between colors aren't very smooth, and when I think cars, I think smooth and sleek, which your lines did not convey. It's not a perfect project, but I think you deserve to give yourself more credit than you did.
^Thanks for the feedback! I did this in an old game that uses low-resolution textures, so that's why the lines look fuzzy and slightly pixelated.
I really like this application. It demonstrates a clear sense of appropriation to an environment where the morality of using the content itself is kind of entirely unexplored. I mean, the community behind this game has to be fairly scant nowadays, so the idea of commemorating a team that just won on a format that appeals both on a personal level and as a means of expression in a niche environment is pretty damn compelling.
