Intention

The intention of this project was to look at a toy, analyze it from the outside, and make an educated decision as to what the inside looks like and how it operates. After doing so, you were to compare what it actually is like to what you predicted.

Process

First you pick a toy. Second, you analyze it looking from the outside in. Third, you take it apart without permanently damaging it if possible. Finally, you compare how it actually works and present to the class.

Reflection

In doing this project we learned that the toy operated somewhat similarly to how we guessed. However, there was definitely a component or two that we were not sure how it operated and tried to make an educated guess. There is definitely more that goes into designing these basic toys than we thought. We also realized that taking it apart once can definitely do some damage to it.
