1. Clarity - Your proposal was very clear, and you outlined really well the process you will use to develop your project, and what music samples you will be taking.
2. Intent - Your intent is clear, and you talked about having wanted previously to combine the two songs you chose. I think this would be interesting to hear, though perhaps you could add more context about what interests you in these two songs, and why you chose them specifically.
3. Material - You made it very clear which three songs you will be using for your project. I like how you will be combining three very different genre's into one track, and I'm excited to hear what it sounds like when you're finished!
4. Spread - I think Soundcloud is a really place to publish your final product! I use Soundcloud myself, and have found that it is a great place for lesser known artists to gain popularity. Perhaps you could also post it on a few other social media sites, such as Tumblr or Reddit, where people with similar interests might look.
I really like what you did with your project. The final product seemed very well put together, and sounded good (no awkward out of beat moments etc). It is especially impressive to me because I am in the video lab and I cannot even imagine being able to work that well with solely audio. Also, the idea itself was very cool to begin with, and the songs you picked are great. As for your critique, there are always things that can be improved or planned better, but I guess that will come with experience for all of us so you're good on that front. Great project! I hope it spreads.
I think you've done a fine job with this. I did notice a couple of VERY MINOR out-of-beat moments (most people wouldn't notice), but it turned out pretty good. Honestly, I'm not even one to talk, being an amateur-at-best audio mixer. I also like the contrast that you've created here by fusing a scream-o song with something much tamer. I don't think I would've been able to tackle something like this with my current experience with audio. This is great work, and you will only get better as you gain more experience. Hopefully, this catches on and spreads!
I listened to your song on soundcloud and it doesn't sound like it's produced by an amateur at all, especially since I'm not familiar with the source songs you used. Well, since I haven't listened to the original songs you used, I can't really say how well you blended the two together but I'm very attracted to your concept of remixing these two songs that are very different (since I attempted at the same idea), and it's definitely challenging to implement, I'm sure. I see that you already have a good number of views on soundcloud, and hopefully that number grows viral!
