I mainly wanted to research this illusion because I had known about it beforehand with regards to food and plating and we don't talk about food in this class (although it can be considered an art form).
Food is probably the most popular application for this illusion. In particular, people have utilized the effect to manipulate the perceived amount of food consumed. This is useful for individuals who want to go on a diet and also for restaurants that want to have their customers feel full without having to serve as much food.
Is this a good/useful/informative piece of content to include in the project? Have your say!
