Sunflower Coaster

Made by Paula Zubiri

My project is an adapted coaster that visually resembles a blooming flower. I drink a lot of coffee, so I am often looking for coasters to save my wood furniture, but I am disappointed by the lack of ridiculously extravagant coasters out on the market, so I designed a large, "sunflower coaster" that will support my cup of coffee, and if looked at the right angle, it will resemble a sunflower. It is made from heat-formed, laser-cut acrylic.
