Our project will capture snippets of idle conversation around a casual study space by hanging microphones in cans from strands of twine on the ceiling. These microphones will pick up bits of speech, translate them to text, and then tweet them in real time to a public Twitter account. The project is intended for people to interact with it, but not necessarily actively.
