By communicating a device’s emotions through non-human physical elements, this experience provides greater immersion during an interaction with a smart assistant. The “entity” created through this physical manifestation is meant to decrease the friction during interaction by increasing the presence and responsiveness of your device.

Solid message reflects on how we receive and send messages, retrieves the old-fashioned way of sending messages and finds alternatives for the fast-paced message sending and receiving in social media. By allowing the end user to send only one message a day and physically prints the message out, we seek more deliberate, mindful ways of communicating.

From our project, we plan to design a connection between kids and parents. Our concept is implementing the actions, imaging, or other soft communications instead of sounds. We also plan to make this subtle communication spooky and deliver care for people.

The knowledge we share with our devices is often more than we may share with a close friend, but the barrier for connection is greater when it comes to real-world relationships

With the help of the smart devices control, the indoor air quality and thermal comfort can be significantly improved, which can bring a wonderful indoor environment for the people. However, most of current smart devices are lack of the interaction with the users. My project goal is to develop a new method to bring a new experience for people to use smart devices.
