The MIRA Mission is a Martian biome that can support different types of plants and organisms. The biome can transmit data to the astronaut crew en route to Mars to create a connection with the growth happening inside the habitat. This information is also transmitted back to Earth to the MIRAsphere, a public engagement installation and to the MIRA mission website to cultivate human interaction with the closed Martian biome.

Our project is a bottom-up approach in creating a tending system for the plants in our Mars biome. We are taking a hands-off approach in which we are providing optimal conditions for the plants to grow by adapting the landscape via inflatable topography. Soft modular chambers can be inflated to different heights based on plants' needs, such as accommodating hydroponics, encouraging decomposition, and allowing for adequate sunlight positioning.

Objects for Displaced Beings is a series of speculative items designed for those who find themselves removed from their location. These low tech and portable tools aim to provide adaptions for whatever occasions may arise for these beings.

The plant arm is a housing device for small household plants that allows for controlled watering on rainy days. A microphone sensor detects when rain hits a roof or rain gutter and triggers the arm to swing out.
