This project is the second part in an ongoing exploration of the pop up and how humans and computers can work together to design them.

We were asked to design, build and install a site-specific work that integrates with its surroundings. The piece had to be reactive and, given a small amount of contextual explanation, informative. We could use light, sound, motion or a combination of those three, mixed with data-driven programming. The piece had to run on site autonomously for four days.

A fusion of two classic puzzle games; place pieces in the correct position to solve the Sudoku puzzle.

In this project, we wanted to capture two people playing basketball and manipulate the actions of the ball in our animation.

In this short, we tried to merge the styles of hand drawn animation, 3D animation, and stop motion. The story is about a little girl wandering about the house late at night. She is searching for something, but instead she encounters some unexpected creatures.

A mocap collaboration with three actors from Purnell. One acted out the knight and two acted out the troll. The animation was an experiment in creating a rig that would work for a two-headed creature. https://vimeo.com/125033330
