Forgotten

The Forget Booth is a tool that will be used in the future to aid in the forgetting of embarrassing, humiliating, or degrading memories. It will be integrated into society, such as in parks, and will require people to divulge the moment to another individual in return for the moment being destroyed digitally on all platforms and sources permanently.

Using VR to help people (in specific prisoners) re-contextualise traumatic memories and help them move on. To accept, and forget.

A web extension, Vault, that would allow a visualization of one’s deletion of personal content from their Facebook. This visual and/or sound effect would be something cathartic or satisfying. In addition, the sense of satisfaction (instead of emptiness, from deletion of content) could be further emphasized with a sort of abstraction of the content that was deleted.
