This project documents how I learned how to learned in Rapid Prototype Design
For this project I intended to record video data (color, depth) from a Microsoft Kinect 2.0 and render this video as a 3D object in virtual reality space.
Memttoo is a memory tattoo that lets its users recall and re-experience digital memories while connecting them to memories stored in the user's mind. All of a person’s memories are then stored in the cloud which means they can connect and display their memories from any available server to anyone they choose, if they want to share
We wanted to foster more conversations between the Pittsburgh community, visitors, and the hill district community. Memorialize the community space, items and people who were displaced, through a mixed media light display and projection technology triggered by tiles.
Using VR to help people (in specific prisoners) re-contextualise traumatic memories and help them move on. To accept, and forget.
I tried to create a method of capturing, storing, and analyzing emotional memory so that it can be created in tangible artifacts later. The idea is to have a person physically handle and experience their emotional memory.
This is a process to capture, analyze, and create real-world objects based on user's memories and experiences. The artifacts allow the user to see, understand, and interact with memory in a therapeutic way. This may help them identify patterns or triggers in their life that cause problems; interacting with the memory and emotion can help the user work through this.
For my continuing skills investigation, I wanted to learn about an old sewing technique - the sewing awl! These thicker needles and ease of use makes them ideal for working with thicker materials or parts in an industrial setting.
